A $70k minimum wage

The CEO of a credit card payment processing firm surprised his 120-person staff with a new plan to raise the salary of every employee to a minimum of $70,000 a year over the next three years. 
Dan Price, founder and CEO of Gravity Payments, said the company will pay for the wage increases by cutting his own salary from nearly $1 million to $70,000 and using between 75 and 80 per cent of the company’s anticipated $2.2 million in profit this year. The New York Times reports. | READ MORE
